OCK After-School
Schedule and Curriculum
Our schedule is designed to meet state requirements and support the mission of OCK. It is flexible enough that it can be adapted if needed , but structured enough to provide consistency for our students. We offer a variety of activities, including, homework assistance, arts and crafts, building, physical activities, games, reading, math and literature, science and discovery, fitness and wellness, puzzles, problem solving activities and special events.OCK utilizes Franklin Institute for STEAM activities, PlayWorks Life Skills, A Window Between Worlds, Catching Fire, Teaching Tolerance and other various curricula for intentional guided activities.

Staff and Mentor Led Group Games/Free Time
(Gym or Playground 4:00-4:45)

End of Day Wrap Up
Finish crafts, homework and reading, STEAM activities, small group activities and Enrichment Engineer led indoor games.

Students remain on their school campus until they are picked up
(with the exception of Fort Vannoy Students)

Check In Procedure :
Parkside, Redwood, Allendale, Highland, Riverside, Mazanita and Lincoln: Students meet in the cafeteria after school. Younger students are often escorted by their teachers and checked in.

Fort Vannoy:
On District 7 Elementary school days, Fort Vannoy students are bussed from Fort Vannoy to Riverside Elementary School where they are greeted by an OCK staff member and escorted to our location.
*On Campus Kids is open on all District 7 elementary school days, excluding half days and the last day of school.
*When city elementary schools are closed, On Campus Kids is closed.
