Applicants must have previous ECE, facilitation skills and verifiable references.

D7 and 3R past or present child development students, strongly encouraged to apply.

LEAD ENRICHMENT ENGINEER REQUIREMENTS

    

 At least 18 years of age AND Criminal Background Registry Enrollment

AND 

Option #1:
60 hours of experience working in the program

AND

Completion of 20 clock hours of training, completed within the last five years, focused on school-age childcare that meets the following core knowledge criteria:

 Five clock hours in understanding and guiding behavior (UG)

 Five clock hours in learning environments and curriculum (LEC)

 Five clock hours in human growth and development (HGD); and
 Five clock hours in program management (PM).

OR

Option #2:
At least 240 hours of qualifying experience working with school-age children in the last five years in a Certified Child Care Center or comparable group care program.

OR

Option #3:

At least an AA Degree in:

 Early childhood education
 Child development
 Elementary education

 Special education

 Physical education

 Recreation
 Human development
 Child and family studies, or

 Home economics

OR

Option #4:

At least a Step 8 in the Oregon Registry

 Orientation within 10 days of hire

 Introduction to Child Care Health and Safety (ICCHS) AND

 Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect (RRCAN) 

 Current certification in first aid and pediatric CPR within the first 90 days of employment

 Foundations for Learning

Shift is from 1:45-5:45 pm on all (full day) District 7 City School Days.

Program Leader pay starts at $18 per hour.

 

ASSISTANT ENRICHMENT ENGINEER REQUIREMENTS:

D7 and 3R past or present child development students, strongly encouraged to apply.

A school-age center’s Assistant Program Leaders support Program Leaders in caring for a group of children under the direct supervision of the Program Leader.

An Assistant Program Leader must:

  1. Be at least 15years old;

  2. Be within sight AND sound of a staff person who meets the qualifications of Program Leader if under the age of 18 years;

  3. Be within sight OR sound of a staff member who meets the qualifications of a Program Leader if 18 years of age or older; and

  4. Meet the initial training requirements                                                                                        

Shift is from 2-5 pm on all full day District 7 City School Days.

Assistant 1 pay starts at $15 per hour and assistant 2 pay starts at $16.00 an hour.
